    Outstanding post and repairs. Where do you source the Grabow Spades? I can see for the briar repair, the Gorilla super-glue color works much better than the clear or black. Thanks for taking the time to share these repair tips. That is one interesting Grabow, that now looks like new.

      I had the same thoughts Mark. Joe and I have been emailing today about that. The difference between you and I do and what he does is the size of the briar “chunks” he uses. He uses a medium wood rasp to make the briar pieces. These are what is used. They have much more mass than the briar dust we use. I can’t wait to give that a try… he showed another example of this in a post on the Dr. Grabow Collectors Forum showing even better the way the patch stays light.
