  • This is a beautifully grained Shamrock 15 Straight Billiard – “A Peterson Product Made in the Republic of Ireland”. This Made in the Republic of Ireland Shamrock 15 Billiard is a great looking pipe. It was stamped on the left side of the shank and read SHAMROCK. On the right side it is stamped “A Peterson’s Product” over Made in the Republic of Ireland in three lines. Next to the bowl it is stamped 15. The rich brown/black finish highlights the grain and is stunning with the polished black vulcanite taper stem. As it is a Shamrock it is a lower end Peterson’s pipe and has the “expected” flaws or sandpits on the sides of the bowl. It really has that classic Peterson’s Shape that catches the eye. The pipe is a comfortable pipe to hold in the hand. It was stamped on the  left side of the shank and read Peterson’s [over] “Wicklow”. On the right side it had the shape number 24S near the bowl followed by Made in the Republic of Ireland in three lines.  The rich brown finish highlights the grain and is stunning with the polished black vulcanite saddle stem. The rich black finish works well with the band of aluminum and black acrylic on the shank and with the polished black vulcanite taper stem.   • This “K” Briar, A Peterson’s Product 338  Bent Billiard can by yours today. This Peterson’s Product “K” Briar Bent Billiard has some beautiful grain on the sides of the bowl and shank that is quite pretty. The contrast of the brown stains gave the grain a sense of depth. The pipe was stamped on the left side of the shank and read “K” Briar in script. On the right side of the shank it is stamped A “Peterson’s Product” [over] Made in the Rep. of Ireland (2 lines) with the shape number 338 next to the bowl. The brown finish really makes the grain stand out on the polished pipe and the contrast with the black taper vulcanite stem is beautiful.   • This Peterson’s Darker Coloured Kapruf 86 Sandblast Apple can by yours today. This Peterson’s Kapruf is a nice looking Apple with some deep sandblasted grain on the sides of the bowl that is quite pretty. The contrast of the brown stains gave the blast a sense of depth. The smooth rim top matches the smooth panel on the underside of the shank. It was stamped on the flat underside of the shank and read Peterson’s [over] Kapruf. To the left of that on the heel was the shape number 86. To the right of the Kapruf stamp it read Made in  The Republic of Ireland. The sandblast dark brown finish really makes the grain stand out on the polished pipe and the contrast with the black taper vulcanite stem is beautiful. It is a great looking Canadian with some cross grain on the sides of the bowl that is quite pretty. It was stamped on the topside of the shank and reads Peterson’s [over] of Dublin [over] Aran. On the right side of the shank it has the shape number 246 stamped mid shank. The smooth brown finish really makes the grain stand out on the polished pipe and the contrast with the black vulcanite stem and the polished nickel band is beautiful. It was stamped on the  left side of the shank and read Peterson’s [over] “Sterling Silver”. On the right side it read “Made in the Republic of Ireland and the shape number 450.  The tarnished band is stamped with K&P in shields [over] Sterling Silver. That was followed by three hallmarks – the seated woman, the harp and the italic letter N which dates it to 1999. The brown finish highlights the grain and is stunning with the silver band and the polished black vulcanite stem. It really has that classic Peterson’s Shape that catches the eye.   • This is a Beautiful Republic Era Peterson’s “Donegal” Rocky 406 Prince. This Republic Era Peterson’s “Donegal” Rocky Prince is a great looking pipe. It was stamped on the underside of the shank. The stamping was readable. It read Peterson’s [over] “Donegal” [over] Rocky [over] the shape number 406. That was followed on the right with the stamping Made in the Republic of Ireland in three lines. The tarnished band is stamped with K&P in shields [over] Sterling Silver. There are no hallmarks to help date the pipe. The rusticated dark brown finish look really good with the silver band and the polished black vulcanite stem. It really has that classic Peterson’s Shape that catches the eye. The pipe is a comfortable pipe to hold in the hand.
