  • This Orlik Made Hurricane Billiard can be yours today. This pipe is stamped Orlik Hurricane over Made in England on the left side of the shank and the shape number H182 is stamped on the right side of the shank. It is a nice piece of briar with a few small, smooth fills around the bowl. It has a natural finish and looks great. The rim cap is Bakelite and is integrated with the bowl and flips back to the smoker to allow access and lighting. The cap is in great shank and the rim top looks very good underneath. The pipe is in great condition. It polished up really well. The polished vulcanite taper stem seemed to truly come alive with the buffing.   • This Sandblast Ben Wade London Made Canadian can be yours today. This pipe is stamped Ben Wade over London England on the underside of the shank along with the shape number 76. It is a nice piece of briar with an interesting sandblast around the bowl and half way up the shank. The rest of the shank is rusticated. It is a mahogany or oxblood colour and looks great. The rim top looks good and the burn area on the left top and edge that I repaired looks decent. The pipe is in great condition. It polished up really well. The polished vulcanite taper stem seemed to truly come alive with the buffing. This is a long Canadian pipe and it feels great in my hand and I am sure that it will feel even better radiating the heat of a good smoke. Have a look at it in the photos below. On the right side of the shank it is stamped “Moorgate”. It is a beautiful piece of briar with great grain around a naturally finished bowl. The beveled rim top is in great condition.   • This BBB Two Star 11 Apple from Bob Kerr’s Estate is available to you today. Bob was a wood carver here in Vancouver and on Salt Spring Island. The pipe is a classic shaped Apple with a tapered vulcanite stem that I am pretty certain is a replacement stem. The grain on the pipe is very nice and the shape has a great look and feel in the hand. The smooth finish is beautiful and highlights the grain. The repaired rim top looks very good and blends in well. The rich browns of the briar works well with the polished vulcanite stem. The finished pipe has a rich look that is quite catching.   • This Royal Crown Bulldog from Bob Kerr’s estate can be yours today.  Bob was a wood carver here in Vancouver and on Salt Spring Island. This straight shank classic Bulldog was made by Hardcastle during the Family Period.  It is a beautiful piece of briar that was carved prior to Dunhill’s takeover of the Hardcastle Factory. It has a saddle vulcanite stem that I am pretty certain is a replacement stem. The grain on the pipe is very nice and the shape has a great look and feel in the hand. The smooth finish is beautiful and highlights the grain. The rich browns of the briar works well with the polished vulcanite stem. The finished pipe has a rich look that is quite catching.   • This newer GBD Popular Sandblast Prince 3531 with a stamped logo on the black vulcanite stem can be yours today. This is another pipe from Paresh in India and it has quite a journey under its belt. This pipe is stamped GBD Popular 3531 on the underside of the shank. Though it is a Cadogan era GBD it is a beautiful piece of briar with a deep sandblast. The deep blasted grain just pops and is almost multidimensional. The pipe polished up really well. The polished vulcanite stem seemed to truly come alive with the buffing.   • This 1976 Dunhill Bruyere 0313 Billiard is from Bob Kerr’s Estate. Bob was a wood carver here in Vancouver and on Salt Spring Island. This 1976 Dunhill Bruyere 0313 Straight Billiard presented some challenges in the restoration process but it was a fun pipe to work on. It really has that classic Dunhill Billiard look in a Bruyere finish that catches the eye. The combination of red and black stains really makes the pipe look attractive. It is a comfortable pipe to hold in the hand and I think that as it heats with smoking that over time the finish will darken and look even better. The finished pipe is shown in the photos below. This is a beautiful Dunhill Bruyere 142 F/T Billiard made in 1967 and shipped or sold in 1969 and/or 1971. It really has that classic Dunhill Billiard look in a Bruyere finish that catches the eye.   • This 1969 Dunhill Bruyere 112 F/T Apple 2A is from Bob Kerr’s Estate. Bob was a wood carver here in Vancouver and on Salt Spring Island. This is a beautiful Dunhill Bruyere 112 F/T Apple made in 1969 and shipped or sold in 1971. It really has that classic Dunhill Billiard look in a Bruyere finish that catches the eye. There are some small nicks on the right outer rim edge and the small burn mark on the upper part of the right side that have been minimized a bit. The pipe polished up pretty nicely. The grain around the bowl and shank really came alive with the wax and polish. The black of the tapered vulcanite White Spot stem is a beautiful contrast to the reds and browns of the finished bowl and shank. The pipe is comfortable pipe to hold in the hand.   • This GBD Popular 233 Sandblast Bulldog from Bob Kerr’s Estate. Bob was a wood carver here in Vancouver and on Salt Spring Island. This straight sandblast GBD Bulldog has a classic GBD shape and a finish that catches the eye. The pipe polished up pretty nicely. The valleys and ridges of the sandblast looked good with the polished black vulcanite. This GBD Popular 233 Bulldog is probably from the 60s. It was another fun pipe to work on thanks to Jeff’s cleanup work. The combination of various black and oxblood stains makes the pipe look attractive. It is a comfortable pipe to hold in the hand.   • This GBD London Made 9664E Paneled Dublin/Pickaxe can be yours today! The pipe is stained an oxblood/cordovan over dark to highlight the amazing grain around the sides and shank. With restoration and buffing the pipe seemed to truly come alive. It is stamped on the topside of the oval shank GBD in an oval over London Made. On the underside it isstamped London, England over 9664 with the letter E at the stem/shank junction. This uniquely shaped pipe feels great in my hand and when it warms with smoking I think it will be about perfect. Have a look at it in the photos below.   • This GBD Original Beveled Rim 115 Sandblast Billiard from Bob Kerr’s Estate. Bob was a wood carver here in Vancouver and on Salt Spring Island. The pipe polished up pretty nicely. The rich dark brown and black sandblast finish really popped with buffing showing the contrast colours of stain on the pipe. The polished thin black vulcanite stem went really well with the colours of the bowl. The smooth beveled rim top really stood out and gave the pipe a bit of class. This mystery line “Original” really has the classic GBD Billiard shape that is very recognizable. The combination of various stains really makes the pipe look attractive. It is another comfortable pipe to hold in the hand. The finished pipe is shown in the photos below.   • This Beautiful Sasieni Apple with a military bit is from Jennifer’s Dad’s Estate. This is another pipe from the estate of Jennifer’s dad, George Leghorn. This is a classic shaped Apple with stunning grain on a well shaped smooth finish. It reads Sasieni over Four Dot Walnut over London Made over Made in England on the left side of the shank. On the right side it read “Appleby” M. Appleby is a town name and the “M” is the designation for a military bit. The smooth finish is quite beautiful and the shine on it makes the variations of colour really pop. The pipe feels great in my hand and when it warms with smoking I think it will be about perfect. This is a flawless looking pipe with a lot of life left in it. Have a look at it with the photos below.
