I recently posted a blog about cleaning up a Mastercraft De Luxe billiard and received an email from Andrew Selking telling me that he had a Mastercraft catalogue from the 1930’s and he sent it to me as an attachment. We both thought it would be great to post it here for the ongoing information of refurbishers who like to know a bit of the history of the pipes they are working on. Here is the brochure for your enjoyment. Thanks Andrew.

Unfortunately I no longer have the brochure, I only took pictures of it. When I first started collecting and restoring pipes I had no idea how difficult it could be to find original information about the pipes.

I am glad you took the photos Andrew. With the zoom feature on the photos I have read the entire brochure. Some of the phrases and terms make me laugh but it certainly gives a picture of marketing in another time and place. Thank you for sending these to me to post.

Steve: This is great…. and it’s in great shape. Any chance you can scan it as a pdf for us to download so we can get a closer read?

Aaron, I don’t have the original Andrew does, perhaps he can scan it. Until then if you click on the photo you can enlarge each one and it is readable.
