I believe Charles Lemon of Dad’s Pipes rusticated this pipe and fabricated a new stem for it. There are no identifying marks on the shank of the pipe. I buffed the pipe and the briar came alive and the finish on the bowl just popped with polishing. The finished pipe is truly a beautiful Lovat style pipe. It has the classic CB rustication patterns all around the bowl and shank. This one has carved parts on the rim cap of the pipe. • This UNSMOKED/NOS Cased Set of Missouri Meerschaum Commemorative Corncob pipes – a 1/4 bent and a billiard with original cob stems can be yours today. These Missouri Meerschaum pipes are classic cobs – one with a black stem and one with an amber coloured stem. The cobs have a darker looking patina and perhaps a shellac coat but a very light one. The pipes both have a circular decal on the heal of the bowl. It reads in a circle around the edge MISSOURI MEERSCHAUM CO., WASHINGTON, MO, USA. In the centre is a second ring that reads Registered Jan 23, 1883 and Patented July 9, 78. In the centre is an ear of corn with an S on the left and CO on the right. Under the cob it says TRADE MARK. I think it is a commemorative set. The box is plastic and holds both pipes. In the base of the case is a cloth with the red, white, and blue American Flag style decoration. The stems are the original plastic/acrylic that came with the pipes. The pipes fit well in the hand and sit right in the mouth. Have a look at it with the photos below. • This Unique Part of the hunt for the cool smoke – a Medico Ventilator Bent Billiard with a  saddle stem can be yours today. This sandblasted Medico pipe has a classic shape and some great grain on the blasted bowl and short shank. This aluminum ventilated shank has been cleaned and polished and actually looks great with the dark finish on the bowl and the black saddle stem. It is a Medico filter pipe and MUST BE SMOKED WITH A FILTER. It is stamped on the heel of the bowl and reads Medico [over] Ventilator [over] Imported Briar. I buffed the pipe the sandblast briar came alive with polishing. The black vulcanite/nylon? stem shines with a rich glow and shows the Ventilator V logo on the left side of the saddle. • This Ansell’s Wash. D.C. Saddle stem Billiard can be yours today. This Ansell’s Billiard has a classic English looking shape and some nice grain on a proportionally well carved pipe. There are a few small fills around the bowl and shank that blend in quite well.
